Measles: World Health Organization (WHO) raises the alarm


World Health Organization raised the alarm since measles is rising in Europe and we are counting more death than ever. World Health Organization is urging the treatment of vaccine for each citizens as soon as possible to inhibit the disaster.
In 2016, 35 deaths were recorded, distributed between Romania (31), Italy (2), Germany (1) and Portugal (1). A situation that is disappointing Dr. Zsuzsanna Jakab, WHO Regional Director for Europe: "Every death or disability attributable to this vaccine-preventable disease is an unacceptable tragedy," she said.

World Health Organization emphasizes those whom neglect the vaccination sensitization that make many European countries to be saved about 37 countries which had eradicated the endemic of the virus from different places in particular kindergarten. Most affected countries, Romania and Italy have already set up national campaigns to increase the percentage of the population vaccinated.
