Find out the lipid-lowering drugs

Lipid-lowering drugs:
The blood contains several types of fats or lipids. There are
necessary for normal body function but can be damaging in excess. Particularly saturated
fats such as cholesterol.

 a. Statins: atorvastatine, Fluvastatin, Pravastatin, Rosuvastatin, Simvastatin.
 b. Drugs that bind to bile salts: colestipol, colestyramine, Ezetimibe, ispaghula.
c. Fibrates: Bezafibrate, Ciprofibrate, Fenofibrate, Gemfibrozil.
d. Other drugs acting on the liver: omega-3 acid ethyl esters, omega-3 marine triglycerides.
e. Nicotinic acid and derivates: Acipimox, Nicotinic acid.
