The effect of food in your dosage form.

1. Anti-infective agents-food

- Some antibiotics are more exposed to absorption ineffective due to meals. Therefore
administrate them need gap space of at least 1h

2. Theophylline-food

- Possibility not having deteriorating when formulated as immediate release instead of
controlled-released. Any way it' intended to use apart from meals.

3. Captopril-food

- Captopril has been interfered with food at anyway, then administrate 1h before meals.
ACE doesn't all interfere with food. Captopril absorption to the gastrointestinal tract is  reduced to 30-40%.

4. Alendronate and risedronate-food

- Food and orange juice, coffee and mineral water markedly reduce the bioavailability
of these calcium metabolism modifiers drugs. So administration should be 1/2h before
any food, beverage or medication containing plain water.

5. Acarbose and miglitol-food

- These alpha-glucosidase inhibitors anti-diabetics with food played a threshold action
to the intake carbohydrate (delaying) and reduce the elevation from the blood glucose
concentration enhanced by the meals. They are straight intake both drug and meals.
